On May 5, 2023, an exhibition of paintings by 11-year-old autistic artist Maksym Brovchenko was opened in Novomoskovsk, Dnipro region. The event featured more than 20 works by the boy dedicated to outer space and love for the suffering Ukraine during the treacherous war. This is the sixth exhibition of the little “Ukrainian Picasso” from the temporarily occupied Berdiansk.

The exhibition of Maksym Brovchenko’s paintings lasted from May 5 to 19, 2023 and was held at the Metallurg Palace of Culture, Parquet Hall, 2nd floor at: 6-a Palanochna St., Novomoskovsk, Dnipro region. 

The meeting with the 11-year-old author took place on May 5 at 12:00 in the format of live communication. Maksym presented his works and talked not only about art, but also shared with the visitors his philosophy of life, which should not include the horrors of war. The guests had the opportunity to ask questions, take part in a joint photo shoot, and drown out the pain of war by joining the world of a child’s creativity.

The event was attended by art lovers, representatives of public organizations, government agencies and the media.
